SANDRINE LEBAS - LEAD DESIGNER & FOUNDERSandrine Lebas is a native of the south of France. After graduating with a master in Design from ENSCI—Les Ateliers, she remained in Paris for several years, working for Philippe Starck on the 7-Eleven Japan stationery line, GoodGoods catalog, and Alessi homeware. Soon after, she created her own consultancy, collaborating with clients such as Alcatel, Thomson Multimedia, Salomon, and L’Oréal. In 2000, she joined the San Francisco LUNAR team, as a senior designer and creative director. Early 2010, she led the KOO project to ICFF in New York, earning an IF award and propelling LUNAR into the home-furnishing world with a genius transformable baby rocker/bassinet. |
As an industrial designer by training, Sandrine brings an utmost attention to detail and a thorough design process. As a European creative, her eye for space optimization and sense of practicality have been applied and developed through tasteful yet tight urban residence designs. Her style seamlessly mixes contemporary flair and vintage finds. As she expanded her interior design practice, her passion for industrial antiques, modernism and laid-back Provence found the perfect canvas in the heart of Luberon, La Grande Bergerie.
